The Barfly, in the heart of Camden, hosts everything from new independent artists, to A list musicians such as Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, The Libertines, and the late Amy Winehouse to name a few. Barfly required professional and flexible security to ensure the control and safety of its artists and customers.

Barfly sometimes needed one member of security for an acoustic set finishing early; and sometimes ten plus Door Staff, stewards and additional Close Protection Operatives for a high-risk/high-profile show with paparazzi in attendance..

Plaza Latina: Street Carnival Event
Carnaval Del Pueblo Association (CDPA), the organisers of the Plaza Latina Festival, contacted Tutela to take over as the sole security provider for their event, twenty days before the planned event. This required risk assessments, police/council event planning liaison meetings, as well as the procurement of personnel and equipment at extremely short notice. The event was held in a public park with multiple entrances and exits, an expected footfall of over four thousand people: ranging from families with children; to young revellers; mobile floats, outdoor bars and bands playing on stage.
The directors visited the site prior to conducting a risk assessment, and were able to moderate the security footprint required whilst ensuring a safe event plan. We presented and received approval for our plan at a meeting involving all the principal stakeholders, thus achieving optimal information flow and minimising response times addressing issues.
The event went ahead without incident, the local Mayor commended the quality of the security staff, and CDPA declared themselves so satisfied, that they requested our services for all their future events; once more demonstrating the value of dedication, integrity and flexibility towards our clients.
